Like many Mountain Dwarves in Dornat Al Karit, Lochren’s occupation has always been his birthright. Twelve generations of smiths came before him, from what lineage he is able to trace back. Yet within his lineage is an ancient and rare art, that of battlesmithing. Only the most talented smiths held the finesse, technique and raw strength required to craft, alter and repair weapons in the midst of battle. These smiths were often kept within the personal employ of lords and high ranking officers, stashed with a slew of weapons they would divy out to soldiers as needed, or use their tools to quickly repair or enhance weapons in the heat of battle.
